Starting & Growing a Business Workshop (Central Virginia)

The fall "Starting and Growing a Small Business" workshop in East Richmond concluded with a graduation and celebration on December 10, 2011 at East District Initiative Center.  A new workshop is being scheduled for early 2012 at the East End Library to be conducted by Savanah Wiliams. Bill’s experience working for a Fortune 500 Company for almost 10 years gave him a lot of confidence to begin his business venture. “I had 30 years experience in Human Resources and felt like that would be the best opportunity. I had the SPHR Certification, an Executive Coaching Certification and a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development. So I had all the tools to be successful.”

Operating with the tag line is "We find the Best for the Best", Bill has grown revenues far in excess of what he had anticipated in 2011. He credits the Enterprise Virginia program operated by United Virginia with having a significant impact on his entrepreneurial success.

United Virginia gets a new Home

We just finished moving our offices to the PACE Center, a Student Ministry Center located on Monroe Park on VCU's campus. We're excited to have moved out of the West End, and look forward to being far more accessible to our clients! Yesterday we had a stream of aspiring entrepreneurs from our current East End workshop come in for consultation meeting; we're excited to make this our current home.
